Good "Work bag" under $300

I need a new bag to carry for work. It needs to fit couple binders/expanding files, as well as all my general stuff (wallet, keys, assorted make-up, etc.). I will occasionally need to squeeze a laptop inside. I'd like ti to be professional, but still marginally fashionable.

I am having trouble finding anything that meets my needs that isn't a very generic black laptop bag. Any suggestions on a specific bag, or where to look?

Look at the Kate Spade outlet, if you can get there. I was there the other day and saw lots of big leather totes fitting that description.

I got the lo and sons bag on a recommendation here...LOVE it. It's the absolute perfect size and is lighter and has held up way better than my previous bag.
