This is the OP from the "my mom is dying" thread. I'm with her. This is hard, but better than not being here. She's still with us, but not for much longer. That advice has brought me a lot of comfort. Thank you.

OP, you're doing the right thing. Been there and it's brutal. But you will never regret being there, no matter how painful.

And later, after, it is a source of strength.
