outside drainage pipe

what kind of contractor should I call to check and see if an outside drainage pipe is clogged, and make any necessary repairs?

Can't you put a hose into the pipe and run water to see if the pipe is clogged?

If its a hard pipe(pvc) call a plumper, they call clean it out. If its a soft plastic black pipe call a landscaper.
