Curious whether anyone knows if Bridges has moved for PK3. Thanks!

No info for you, but if it's any consolation, we were in the high 90s last year and got a call around the middle of June.

Thank you! I really appreciate having some hope. Did you accept?

We got into Bridges preK 3 last July with a figure in low 100s and had a fantastic year there. We'd be returning but we got into a great school 3 miles closer to home.

How far up in grade does Bridges go to? I tried to look online at their website, and it doesn't say anything about this. It looks like they currently go up to 2nd grade, but are they planning to go any higher?

They are planning to go to 5th grade and will be adding a grade each year for the next couple of years. We have a great WL number for preK 3 and really want a space!!! I will update if/when we get a call.

Yes. I absolutely love the school. I hear that it's common for them to go through their waitlist each year for the younger grades, so I wouldn't worry.

I feel like there will be less movement though because it was in the common lottery. So if someone ranked Bridges pretty high, they obviously wanted the spot there. There will probably be some movement still, but I don't think you can compare to years past. I don't think we can know what to expect.

That's true, but the waitlist is also much shorter. Last year, it went into the 400s, and I think they went through all of it. This year, they are only at around 150. So it's possible that they will still go through their entire waitlist.

Is that true? I thought the wait list last year was in about the 150s. No?

I think it depends on the grade, but for PK3 they said the waitlist was very long--300-400, I think.

They are starting to call people on the wait list today. We got a call for PK3 this morning and plan to accept. They gave us until Friday to accept, so the next wave of calls probably won't go out until next week.

Do you mind telling your WL number? Or a range? Our number is in the mid-20s, and as of right now, at least, we aren't accepted anywhere.

I think they moved around 9 spaces for PK3.
