Costco sells a bag of bulbs that are deer-resistant. Worked for me.

| Depends on light, size of space, soil etc. How much light do you get? How big do you want it? |

This year they ate some holly as well as new undergrowth on prickly juniper. Uneaten are otto leuken cherry laurels and birds eye spruce. We also had some nibbles on american boxwood and english boxwood but no damage.
Skip azalea, rhodo s, lilac, yew, trees like leland /maple etc. Only tree s they never touch at my house are blue spruce. They eat crepe myrtle. I used to have roses and lavender [can get big and is green all winter] but they eat those now as well. I have given up since my only option is to have a pack of border collies on shifts 24/7 or spray daily leaving me stinking. |

Scotch Broom.
Comes in red and yellow. Amazing fragrance when flowering. Green foliage year round. In market right now. |

How about milkweeds and spurges? They're not shrubs, though.
I think that deer will eat almost anything, if they're hungry enough. |

You're kidding right? Because deer will mow these to the ground. OP: plant anything in the wormwood family--artemisia, sage, some lavenders. Generally, any furry highly scented leaf will repel them and or give them a terrible stomach ache--so they won't come back. The leaves will be light gray-light green in color when mature--just remember aromatic and furry leaves--they'll stay away. |

| I'm not the earlier daffodil poster, but I have to disagree with 19:06. Daffodils are the only thing in our yard the deer leave alone. We have over 100 daffodils, and a dozen deer who visit multiple times a day. |
