Elin Hilderbrand fans?

She's a total beach read but I love her. I just saw on Amazon that she's releasing her customary July book but also another one in October! They're marketing it as a Christmas book. I'm thrilled but how can she pump out stories this fast?? It makes me wonder what her writing life is like.

Horrible, trite and contrived. I love beach reads, i really do. UBt I picked up one book of hers and thought it was the stupidest thing - stupid people doing stupidly unrealistic things.

If she's cranking out two books, it's all about the $$.

She's going to turn into Danielle Steel if she's not very careful.

She must be loaded by now. I wonder what her Nantucket house looks like.

I kind of like the books but I do feel like they are bordering on trashy. They are books I don't admit to reading (although I've read all of them).

I agree, though I feel her earlier ones were less fluffy. Less "be achy" though still beach reads.

I also agree. Her older books were better. But I still read them each time they come out in the summer!

I read Summerland and LOVED it. I downloaded a sample of another one, but I didn't like it as much and didn't finish it. OP, which is your favorite Elin Hilderbrand book?

The Blue Bistro, The Beach Club, Barefoot, and A Summer Affair are my favorites
