Why don't you go to the Target clinic- http://www.target.com/pharmacy/clinic-services#?lnk=gnav_health_12_56
the target in 7 corners (on 50) has a clinic. I have a gone a few times and been very pleased. |
do i need an appointment? i have never gone to any clinic before. |

no appt needed. - they are closed for like an hour for lunch-- I can't remember what time, check the website. But you just go an sign in. If they can't take you immediately they will give you a pager so you can shop while you wait.
For the 7-corners one go in the doors on the right and turn to the right. The clinic is next door to the pharmacy- kind of behind the toothpaste aisle. |
| Thanks! |

I see whoever is available at General Internal Medicine Group. You can always get an appointment, and they are very kind and helpful.

I went here a month or so ago when I thought I had strep:
http://www.urgentcarefallschurchva.com/ Very quick. Fortunately (sorta) I had a virus not strep. |
| I go to Allison Bae on Route 7. But her office staff is absolutely terrible and makes me want to leave. |
| you can also get a strep test at any CVS minute clinic |
Yes. I am a former long-time patient of Dr. Byer, but I stopped going after he retired precisely because the office staff is so terrible. |
| We like Dr. Theisz in Falls Church. But for strep tests, we've gone to the new Minute Clinic on W. Broad St. |
I go to Dr. Audrey Lenze in the same practice. I'm curious what is so awful about the office staff? I've been going there for years and they have never struck me as any worse, or better, than any other doctors office staff. Maybe I'm just used to bad medical staffers.
|
I am at the same practice, and I don't have any trouble with the office staff. However, I'm not a fan of Dr. Lenze. She seems to jump to conclusions and actually seems to try to avoid touching people during exams. I'm planning on switching to another doctor as soon as I can. |
I'm also a patient there but w/dr Bae. The thing that bothers me about them is that it seems their whole system is built to avoid speaking with patients. When calling their office, there is no option to talk to a live person for medical questions. calls to the nurse go immediately to voicemail. The only live person, I guess the receptionist, is only supposed to be spoken to for appts. |
