Specifically for high income earners with significant assets?
Who gives a shit what assets you have? For everyday banking it doesn't matter unless you plan on calling them for a $500,000 bridge loan you need within 24 hours.
Credit Union

We are very happy with Citigold.
you sound like you will be soon parted from your money

It matters a great deal. Especially if you're going to need a mortgage on an unusual property, etc, etc and it also depends on how significant your assets are. If we're talking north of $10MM you should see a private banker.
Don't bother with JP Morgan at that level though, I tried them with an amount just north of that and the gentleman very kindly told me they would only open new accounts for those with $20MM or more to deposit. Try US TRUST. |
If you have millions then I suggest looking into a private banker. If you're in the high six figures then I suggest a credit union
Depends on what the purpose is...I'd love to be selfish and recommend my firm's services but it's not always a good fit. What are you wanting to accomplish with the "banking" aspect of your account?
