| I got a 4 pound pork butt from the grocery store, and had it in the fridge for 4 days before I froze it. Tonight I planned to cook it but when I opened the package, it smelled a little off - not horribly, but sulphuric enough that my husband and I were on the fence. I read on some sites that vacuum sealed pork can have a smell, but wanted to see if anyone else had experience with this? The meat looks fine- no grey or green color. |

I wouldn't chance it, especially with pork. I would rather throw out ten bucks of food than possibly risk food poisoning for the entire family.
