outlander books, soon to be tv series

Anyone besides me following the development of the Outlander tv series? I don't have cable so I won't see it until 2016 but I'm looking forward to it.

I am very excited about it! I love the books and saw the series trailer and it looks well done. Although Jamie's hair didn't seem to be red, but maybe that was just the lighting in a night scene. Anyway, I don't have cable either but my aunt is subscribing to Stars just for this series so plan to watch with her.

Yes! So excited. And the actor who plays Jamie has definitely gone red for the part. I think he makes a pretty convincing James Fraser. Can't wait!

Loved the books. Still waiting for #8. Nervous I'll hate the actors. I actually filled the back cover of the first book with photos of actors I thought fit my mental images of Jamie, Claire, etc. Alas, all are now too old to play the parts. I checked out the website and the actors aren't hard on the eyes, but haven't clicked for me. Yet.
