MCPS Regional Elem. Summer School

Hi,

I'm looking for a summer program for my 7 y.o. He has an IEP and is in a learning center special ed program. He will be in 2nd grade this fall. He does not qualify for ESY. Last year he went to Basic Concepts summer camp. Among other things, he is behind in reading, math and writing. I'm looking at the brochure for summer school. MCPS offers reading and math. I'm considering this for my DS but want to know if anyone has any experience with it. This program was not mentioned in my DS's IEP, which was 3 weeks ago. Thanks!
