Not quite catering - where would you source party food?

Whole Foods? Wagshals? Costco?
Thinking of an assortment of dips/cheeses and some apps we could heat and serve. Expecting a large crowd - 50+ in upper NW. Don't want to break the bank, but would love fresh and tasty if possible! |

| i do not like whole foods' party platters, so i'd vote for wagshals or costco (a number of years ago washingtonian mag ran a fun article on hosting a party via gourmet shops vs costco and the costco party turned out pretty darn good!). another idea is to get big party dishes from chipolte or moby dicks. |
