| We meet a couple other families at the beach every year and there's been an ongoing cooking contest between the families. One of the others has been baking bread several times a week in order to perfect their technique by August. We're pretty decent home cooks/foodies, but I think we need to step up our game since we've done plenty of BBQs, roasts and variations on lobster bakes. We need a couple fancier ideas to feed a large group (about 15-20) that won't take a full day of prep and I'm willing to take a some classes to work out my technique. Any suggestions or recommendations for cooking classes in DC/Arlington/Alexandria so I don't have to schlep out to L'Academie? How about impressive looking/tasting dishes for large groups? |

| Look up "company's coming" in DC. It was awesome experience! |
| I think that PP means Culinaria. I haven't taken a class there, but my husband has taken three there and he said they were excellent. |
Not PP but it is CulinAerie. My cooking instructor from L'Academie is one of the co-founders. |
I'm the PP and I apologize. I didn't realize there was a CulinAerie. My post still refers to Culinaria in Vienna. |
