BCC little league vs. TPSS little league (for a 6-year-old)

Anonymous
Can anyone speak to how these two leagues compare? Pros and cons? (DS is very enthusiastic and reasonably athletic and skilled.)

We're east of the park in NW DC -- either league would be pretty convenient for us. (We're zoned for Banneker City LL in DC, but that organization just seems a total mess -- DS loves baseball and I don't want his first experience in a league to be a turn-off for him. The DC little leagues seem pretty strict about boundaries, but BCC and TPSS both say they'll take kids from anywhere.)

TIA!

I don't know anything about Takoma Park but the Inspired Teaching kids play with Banneker and like it.

BCC is a great league for young kids, but the games are in MoCo -so you could have to schlep out far for games (our kids play on BCC trams and we live in Bethesda and the games are often at fields technically in Bethesda but outside the beltway so feel far even to me). Plus think about whether you have an option for your child to play on a team with other kids from his school - our kids enjoy playing with some school chums - in fact being on the team together has helped them develop more of a friendship.
