New parent support group that meets on Wednesdays in DC?

I delivered at Sibley recently and I remember being told about a new parent support group that meets every other Wednesday in DC, somewhere not too far from the hospital. Anyone know when and where the group meets and/or have any feedback on it? Thanks!

I believe it's Wednesdays at 10am at the church nearby. I delivered at Sibley too but never went to the meetings..

When I went - after March 07 delivery - it was at the Community Church in Palisades - I think on Cathedral near Macarthur. First and third wednesdays ?(so ocasionally there would be two weeks w/o a formal meeting, as a bunch of us found out when we showed up anyway) - but the Sibley website has info, with the birth and childcare class stuff. From friends who did PACE, I can tell you that this isn't nearly as structured - a lot of it was feeding advice, and just talking to others in a similar situation. There is a nurse or LC from Sibley to facilitate it. It was great to have a little structure in the great post-partum void - a lot of the women at the meetings would go to lunch together afterward - and I know that many of the SAHMs in my cohort continued meeting for quite a while
