I can't listen right now but am curious about what's being said.

wow. good! Although he's 80, how much longer can that be? |
also 2.5 milion fine and will do whatever it takes to force the sale of team
wow wasn't expecting all that |
he will tie it up in court long after his death. |
Based on what the commissioner just said, he CAN be forced out as an owner if 3/4 of the League Owners vote that way. I have a feeling this will happen. |
I don't understand why he can be banned for expressing an unpopular opinion. He didn't break any laws. |
Because the NBA isn't a court, or the government. They can ban whoever they like. The market at work. |
It's the same principle that Microsoft has used to keep you from joining their Board of Directors. A private business can make its own decisions regarding who serves in leadership. |
It is like being kicked out of a private club if you violate one of their rules. |
1 racist down..x-amount of other racist business owners left to go |
It's not a criminal case. Article 35 of the NBA's constitutional bylaws—which aren't public—gives the commissioner the powers to exercise this decision. |
The NBA is protecting its interests. A known racist owner in a city where many of the fans, and most of the players, are minorities is a poor business model. A loss in revenue is not worth keeping this guy around when they have new potential owners lined up. |
he can still take it to court, he is a lawyer, he isn;t going to jsut say ok. Look at the chris paul deal, etc, it has been all over the media today by legal experts who have said he is going to tie it up for years. the league wil end up owning another team until it is resolved. |

Is the NAACP giving back all the money he has donated to them over the years? They knew who he was |
