Fall 2008 School - Almost 3-year old

2 topics:

1) My son will be three in mid-October. The Montessori school we would be sending him to starts the three year olds (before Dec. 31st - unlike MCPS) in their primary program which runs every day from 8:45Am - 12:15PM. His older brother is in this program this year but will be extended to to 3:00PM (for their kindergarten program) in the fall. Since my younger son has never been to preschool before, I am a bit on the fence about thrusting him into a 1/2 day program M - F. This school is terrific so that is not a concern of mine. Also, we do not need the program for childcare as I employ a full-time nanny.

2) Should they be put in the same class or should I separate them? Montessori does the 3 - 6-year olds in the same class. I love my four-year old's teacher.
