Cup with Cap for 3 Year Old

| My three year old daughter still uses a cup with a cap most of the time for drinks. She almost always asks for the cap when I do not give her one and, frankly, the cap is less mess for me. She uses a cup without a cap at school and some other times - so she does know how to use one. Am I being lazy by allowing her to keep using a cap at this age? |

I don't see any problem with it. We adults drink out of travel coffee mugs with lids.  She'll be fine.
