| Is it really the ultimate cooking experience? I'm really curious to hear more. |
| My BIL & SIL have one and they use it all the time. It seems to produce great smoked and grilled meats. We've always had good meals from it. They use it a bunch and seem to love it. |

My uncle has one and loves it - uses it almost every weekend. The food is pretty delicious and it has lasted him at least eight years and still in excellent shape.
DH was strongly considering purchasing one, but right now space is a consideration for us. He did a ton of research and if he was going to be mainly smoking meats the Big Green Egg would've been his top choice. Ultimately decided to go with a traditional grill with a smoker box, since it was a cheaper, more versatile option and he plans to grill more than smoke. |
| My in laws have an egg. Have had it for over ten years. It's good, but fussy. They have to store it inside for winters and they caved and bought a separate grill because they were never happy with the burgers. But, it makes delicious chicken... And other smoked meats. |
| My DH is a grill nut. We have a gas grill, a charcoal grill and a BGE. He inherited the BGE from a family member and loves it. Smoked meats are fabulous (and low maintenance to do vs. other smokers) and steaks on the BGE are the bomb! You can taste the difference. We still use our gas grill when we are short on time. The charcoal grill needs to go, as we never use it any more. It's only around because we had it prior to the BGE's arrival. |
| Does it really need to be stored inside in Winter? |
No. |
Yeah, we live in Colorado and I've never heard of anyone storing them inside over the winter. |
