Why are you not an ideal weight?

Anonymous
My problem is the afternoons. Even if I eat enough protein/ fiber/healthy fats in the begining of the day--I lose any will power at around 3pm. Then i snack like a mad woman. I also am rarely full ( not overly full, but satisfied full--it's like a myth for me except on thanskgiving) so I feel like I'm always thinking about food.

What is your Achilles heel?

Sweets at night and zero working out. I am pretty good during the day all the way through dinner.

If I stopped eating at 730 pm I would be an ideal weight for sure! But I put the kids to bed, finish the laundry, clean up and usually work on some work email and I get the cravings!!! A handful of m&ms here, some grapes there, and the worst : cereal...sometimes I binge one two huge bowls...TOTALLY F's up my diet! ahhhh

Wine. As soon as I have a glass, I have no willpower and break out the cheese and crackers. I'm pretty good with snacking without wine.

Busy with fulltime job, kids and husband working long hours.

I have a sedentary job, and I had been a habitual eater all my life. I'm working on these things.

Snacking. I was bulimic for 10 years and would snack, over eat, etc. Has been hard to break some of that snacking/overeating habit. Recently diagnosed with Celiac and I'm hoping that will curb my snacking since most of what I snacked on was filled with gluten

weekends do it for me, I can plan all week and be good about lunches and dinner routine. But when fun things come up and I out of the house all day from activity to activity is when I usually over do it!

I'm still breastfeeding my six month old. So despite working out daily, eating lots of veggies/lean protein, and running around like a mad woman, I have a nice 10-15 pound cushion. Hoping it falls off when I wean like it did with my first...

I am not sure when the last time I was at an ideal weight was, but I am going to guess around age 6. The first weight I distinctly remember was 142.5 lbs and I weighed that the summer after fifth grade. I weighed 170 in the 11th grade and maxed out around 275 in my late 20s. I am still pretty overweight. I don't know any other way to be.
