| BY reasonable, I mean an iced-tea and an entree should be about $10-12 before tip. |
|
Market lunch.
Tortilla Cafe. |
|
Cosi
Maybe pain quotidien without the ice tea. Firehook |
| OP here. Anything Italian or Asian? |
| Maybe Nooshi? (It's upstairs from Tash.) |
Hunan Dynasty isn't terrible but wouldn't be high on my list for lunch. |
| We the Pizza, Good Stuff Eatery are on the cheaper end. But 10-12 dollars isn't really considered "reasonably priced" anywhere anymore. That's really more slow fast food (Cosi, ABP, etc.) priced. |
| Maybe Ted's Bulletin (for a sandwich and drink). |
|
Slightly more expensive, but Acqua Al 2? Across the street from Eastern Market.
|
| 7th Hill Pizza. |
|
Belga's lunch menu, Ted's Bulletin, you could also just get a sandwich at Springmill Bread Co.
Chespeake Room, Lavagna are more pricey |
Love Nooshi but it seems pricey to me. Then again I haven't eaten there at lunchtime. |
Good recommendations. Also check out the Silver Spork. |
| And if you're into gourmet hot dogs, see DC-3 on 8th St. |
|
You can barely eat at the Market Lunch for $10-$12. Tortilla Cafe is a good bet. Tunnicliff's, too.
Acqua Al 2 has a prix fixe lunch for $20, which is a steal considering how good it is. You could get a pizza or salad or sandwich at Seventh Hill for about that. Zest has a prix fixe for, I think, $15 or less. |
