Safe appetite suppressant?

Does this exist? I've never been one to take diet pills but my appetite is out of control and I feel like I need some help getting on track. Does anyone take anything that doesn't make you feel like you are about to have a stroke?

Drink a tall glass of water and eat an apple 30 min before a meal?

I haven't found anything else that works and doesn't make my heart race.

I would like to know too, OP. Just for a spring jump-start.

Or if there is a vitamin supplement that helps with cravings, perhaps.

I used some stuff for a while -- can't remember the name, but Cheryl Burke from DWTS was in the ads. You spray it in your mouth before meals and after a couple days of use it reduces your appetite. I definitely felt like a huge sucker buying it, because it's one of those things you see advertised on late-night infomercials, but it was backed up by a study published in a reputable journal and I decided to risk the $30. Surprisingly, it did what it said on the box. It's not going to make you drop a bunch of weight but if you're just trying to lose 5lbs or so I would say it's worth the $30. Will try to find the name and post back.

Exercise makes me hungry.

I find almond butter fills me up for a while. Avocado helps too.
