I think it’s really hard Taylor her to find a guy because of her status and power. She needs like a David Beckham if he was 15 years younger. Like a really really famous athlete but in another country. Given her love for London/British guys why hasn’t this happened? Or maybe Canadian hockey player? Surely Ryan Reynolds with his overseas soccer connections and his Canadian background could work this out?

Ok this annoys me about Swifites. Travis has two previous girlfriends. Kayla is the woman he dated for 5 years who is a sports journalist and model with her own following. She made him more known while they were dating. She keeps getting confused with the other girlfriend who runs her mouth bc well I’ll let you figure out why certain people can’t tell them apart.

Kayla has barely spoken about them if at all. I haven’t seen her say anything about them. Saying after a 5 year relationship you expected to be married isn’t bitter. It’s honest and most women expect to be married after a year or two. It is well known he cheated on her and that’s why they split.

Five years is a long time to wait for a ring. Sorry it makes her look dumb. And the term “wifed” is just silly and immature.

I didn’t confuse his girlfriends… I couldn’t pick either of them out of a lineup because I don’t care that much, but I do know they are both young and pretty. one was with him for five years and said that wifed comment which yeah I think is lame and immature. Also get a better picker and don’t waste five years waiting for a ring.

Taylor dated Joe Alwyn for 6 years. I have no idea if she was "waiting for a ring" but is she equally dumb for being in a relationship for that long that didn't end in marriage?

Also, I am happily married and we got engaged after living together for 4 years. I don't think it's weird to date for a long time before marrying when you are in your late 20s and are pursuing pretty demanding careers. It might be weirder in your late 30s, but lots of people do it and still get married.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes dated for 10 years before getting married just two years ago. They seem pretty happy.

Well they dated in high school so a little different. I never got the impression that Taylor wanted to marry Joe but I could be wrong. I don’t know that much about the relationship. I just started following Taylor recently.

And you missed the point - you are happily married! You saw that the relationship was going somewhere and you were right. I dated my husband for almost 4 years before we got engaged, but yeah, we were talking about it and it was clearly going somewhere. You didn’t get to five years without a ring and then publicly rant about it. I don’t see how the two scenarios are related at all.

Seems like there were a major clues this was not going anywhere since they were off and on the whole time. I feel bad for her and she probably didn’t deserve that but what is cringe is that she went off in public about it. He’s a high profile guy, just seemed trashy.

So many comments in this thread are yelling at people for doing to Taylor EXACTLY what you are doing to this woman -- assuming a bunch of stuff about her personal life you couldn't possibly know, and then passing judgment on it for sport.
