| Hi- I would like to help my child learn the math facts cold since it really would help for the future. Are there any apps or websites that are good at keeping track of progress, adapt to child's knowledge and provide some kind of (virtual) rewards? Thank you for all feedback (even if they are apps that you would not recommend). |
| try CK12.org and khan academy. both tracks and adapts to learners |

try teaching them yourself instead of having them stare at ascreen.
You need to teach them why xyz = abc, not just memorize things. |
| I second that @Khan academy |
| ixl.com is not bad. take a look at kumon (not a computer app) it is great at making kids comfortable/proficient with math facts. |
Uh, not for math facts. They will get the concept, but they really just need to memorize them. |
| how old is your child? |

| just for fun our kids love math vs. zombies on the ipad. it is timed so they have to think quick. |
| Reflex Math You have buy the subscription, but you can get a free trial to see if you like it first. |
| OP here- we actually use reflex math for addition/subtraction and DC is at 92% fluency.. I thought we'd mix it up (unsure if it's the same games etc. but for multiplication).. Hoping to find something you can have an account and keep track. Some sites appear to be overwhelming with so many modules they offer that you have to pick.. |

My kids are turned off by many of the kill-and-drill math apps, but they like the game aspect of this one. |
