Cake decorating classes in DC/MD

I am getting into baking and cake decorating. I made my first fondant cake this week-end.

Has anyone any feedback on the Wilton decorating classes held at AC Moore? They are only $20, compared to the $95 Fancy Cakes by Leslie. I am wondering if it is worth it shelling out extra money?

I took the Wilton classes at Michaels. They were only $10. I thought they were great fun.

L'Academie de Cuisine also has cake decorating classes.

I think the Wilton classes are a great way to start out. Once you have taken them, if you feel like you want more knowledge, then spring for the specialty classes.
