9 year old and build a bear party

Anonymous
My dd is turning 9 and wants to have a build a bear party. Is that too old to have one? Thanks.

If your DD wants to have a build-a-bear party, then your DD is not too old to have a build-a-bear party.

Nope. Lots of kids hang on to ideas and desires from when they were younger because they have always wanted to do them and never got to do them. They don't realize that the activity won't have the same appeal or be quite the same as they are expecting because they are now older and they have changed. So I wouldn't just make this blanket statement and say it's true.

I think a party like this could still work out but I would think that you need to add another activity to it now that they are 9.

We had a build a bear party for my 4 year old, and while we were there, some teenagers came in for build a bear. I think it is fine for a 9 year old and should be fun.
