DC: How long does it take to record the selling price on a house?

How long does it take to record the sale price of a house in DC. From closing to recording?

Well, I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. If the property went through MLS the agent updates the price right away and it should proliferate out to the websites online. But how long does the District take to change the tax record to reflect the sale and sales price? I've seen it take 2 months to a year. Are you asking about the actual District recording process (very slow) or when you can find out what a property sold for?

This house was bought by an investor.

Give me the address and I will tell you how much it sold for.

Okay, so what is your question then? Was the house not listed for sale? I answered it at 22:00, it will take the District anywhere from 2 months to a year to update the public record.
