Where to get life insurance?

DH has decided to start biking to work, which is motivating me to get our long overdue life insurance squared away (we have two kids, so we really need to get our act together). Not really sure how to go about it though. Any tips?

Look up Meltzer. They are great.

If you want easy, go to Geico. Tehy're a broker for various plans, but main thing is you get Geico 24/7 customer service.

Call a broker and have them price out several plans and pick the one that works best for price, amount, and length of time you want to pay for premiums.

Make sure he has disability, too. My friend's DH was hit by a car while running and laid up for 5 months.

Ask your friends if they know a good broker. That person will do the shopping for you and get you a deal. We ultimately ended up going with Banner Life out of Frederick, MD. Our broker was based out of DE, so you'll probably want someone local.
