Are reconditioned Vitamixes just as good as perfectly new Vitamixes?

In essence, what has your (or someone you know) experience been like with reconditioned Vitamixes?

Thus far, I've had no problems with my reconditioned Vitamix

Yes. Had mine for six years and the warenty is for real. The plunger cracked when dropped and they replaced it for free when I called in to reorder.

Bought a reconditioned one about 5 years ago. Works like a champ and no issues. You still get their warranty which is top notch so save yourself the $100!
