Redirected automatically to App store

Anonymous
Good morning Jeff,

This morning I was viewing DCUM Recent Topics from my iphone and I was automatically being redirected to the app store for an app called Dragon City. This happened to me repeatedly. It doesn't seem to be doing it anymore (this was about an hour ago) but I wanted to bring it to your attention in case someone was trying to do something shady.

That happened to me too! I thought I was accidentally clicking something.

Me, too! Had to get on another device to let you know. I was on an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.0. Running the 7.1 upgrade now in hopes that will get rid of it.

OP here - ok glad it wasn't me being crazy.

This must be an advertisement. Has anyone had it happen on an iPad?

It's happening to me too, on two different I-Phones (not an issue so far on my computer, don't have an iPad to test). It started this morning, still happening.

Okay, I had it happen to me on my iPhone. The redirection came from a website called ads.glispa.com. Checking with Google, glispa is an ad network with which they have partnered. I blocked glispa from serving ads to us. It might take up to an hour to take effect. Please let me know if you observe this sort of thing after that.

12:10 again. Just happened again, but this time for an app called "jelly splash" instead of the dragon one, and the glimpse of the URL I got looked a bit different.
