I hardboiled the eggs, cracked them a little bit, and dropped them in ice water. (the cracking thing was new to me, I just read about it.)
Anyway, I usually get them out of the water in 5 mins and straight to the fridge. Today, I forgot, and they were in the water (on the counter) for about an hour, maybe hour 15. Are they still good? |

| Yes. The hardboiled eggs in the school lunch line are like this for at least 2 hours. And I suspect that they don't make new ones every day. |
