Running shoes?

Anonymous
I used to run quite a lot 15 years ago, been trying to get back in it and coming to the realization that I really need to get some proper shoes if I'm going to keep adding time/distance. My ratty sneakers just don't offer good support. Ive heard of places like fleet feet and such, does anyone have any recommendation for a place in NW?

For context, I'm still cranking at 2-3 miles a day, so a long way from where I was ages ago, but getting back there...

I always buy my running shoes at Fleet Feet in Columbia Heights. They will take the time to find out what type of running you do and what shoe might work best.

You know the drill -- find a local running store that can properly fit you.

Runner's World has a find-a-store form on their website:

(I like Fleet Feet, too, though.)
