Does water valve feeding outdoor pipe need to be turned off due to tomorrow's cold?

Looks like it will be close to / at freezing point tomorrow, for a few hours. Does the water valve feeding outdoor pipe need to be turned off to avoid frozen pipe? Even if it's just for a couple of hours of low-30s temps? I am out of town and would need to ask a friend to do so, but I'd rather not inconvenience him.

No. It might not even freeze.

Ha ha, no. Silly southerners.

No, it will be fine.

This winter was the first year we ever turned our outside faucet off (the valve is really inaccessible). Never had a problem.

No. It will barely be at freezing if at all.
