Filed electronically - how soon should I expect refund?

Had an unexpected tax refund this year so don't know how this works - anyone know how quickly we should expect the government to deposit the refund into our account? We filed on Friday.

It tells you on the irs website when to expect it.

Get up-to-date refund information using Where's My Refund? or the IRS2GO mobile app. Where's My Refund? is updated once every 24 hours, usually overnight.

Refunds are generally issued within 21 days after we receive your tax return. You should only call if it has been longer.

We filed a few weeks ago. Got our refund deposited in our bank account 9 days later.
