Would really appreciate any feedback about children's experiences who stay through K and/or into elementary school.

For instance, why did you choose to stay rather than apply out?
How well were your child's individual educational and social needs met at the elementary level?
When you did apply out, and if you applied to privates, was Aidan helpful to you in the admissions process?
If so, how so?
And anything else you feel would be helpful for another parent to know.

I know a family who did Aidan Montessori and loved the school. They especially liked the Chinese teacher Ms. Hardage, and they left for Yu Ying when she signed on to do Yu Ying's aftercare.

Both Lower Elementary teachers are excellent so I think it is worth staying on for the first part of elementary school. I would not recommend staying past Grade 3. The Upper El program is too small to be good socially, and I do not think the education is very good at that level.
