| When I was young there was always rumor of a man who dressed like a bunny and lived in the woods. He reportedly murdered young children. I was always afraid to play in the woods for fear of him. Was he only in my neighborhood woods? Do you know what became of him? |
| Lol - that's wild...we had a Bunny House back in the woods. |
| The hell? |
| Sounds like something older kids made up to tease you. Never heard of that. |
| Probably was something older kids made up but I remember this suburban myth when I was young playing in the woods around our local playground and we would literally sprint past that Bunny House like our lives depended on it. |

This explains it:

| Stop calling in the DMV. |
| I think only Clifton/Fairfax Station people would know this. |
| No one whom I grew up with in this area would call it the "DMV." |
Cause you white. Fact. |
Isn't it crazy how you can spot a white person even through a computer screen? |
I agree; born and raised here. I thought it was a creation of WTOP because that's the only place I hear it. |
| The DMV is the Division/Department of Motor Vehicles. |

The 70s sound like such a delightful time.
My hometown had a guy who dressed as a clown and would go up and cop a feel on other men. He was long gone by the time I was born, but I heard the stories. |

Interesting, thank you for the link. I've heard/seen references to the Bunny Man over the years yet never knew the background of the legend. |
