| I need new bras but have no time or desire to shop in person. I tend to prefer simple styles with underwires and little padding (not push-ups,but thick enough to ensure a smooth look). Please let me know if you can recommend a good online place to buy such bras, for a reasonable price, and hopefully with good measuring instructions and styles that run true to those instructions. Thank you! |

I buy bras off of eBay. You can find size and measuring instructions on the individual manufacturers websites.
You could go with Herroom.com or barenecessities if you're willing to pay a little more and like the convenience. My bras are crazy expensive, which I why I use eBay. |
| I buy from Bare Necessities.com - free shipping both way like Zappos and email coupons. |
| How big are you? I'm an a cup, barely and vs works for me |
|
I think you need to try them on to make sure they fit. Even if the measurements are good, there are only two measurements--band and cup size. I can find five bras that have the same band and cup size, but only one looks good on me because of the shape of the cup or the distance between or the degree of coverage.
Can you get to a store and try on so you can figure what size/brand combination works for you? Then you can buy on line after that. |
| If you have a bra you like, just order it again. Bare necessaries works well for me. |

So excellent. Great selection, frequent sales, fast shipping. Make sure you get on their email list. I am a 38G so I only buy bras online. Unless I walk into a really fancy bricks and mortar shop they will not have my size. |
Forgot to mention, take their "bra test" and you will learn a lot about your breasts and the right size for you. |
| I like the Barely There underwire bras, get them on sale at one Hanes place dot com |
You can find them sometimes at Nordstrom Rack. |
| I wear the Body by Victoria full coverage bras with underwire. Do get fitted first though. I was wearing the wrong size for many years. |
| I buy my Victoria Secret bras online on ebay, but only after finding one I liked at a brick and mortar store. |
|
get fitted at Nordstroms once (and buy a bra there and where it for a week or two) then you'll know how bras should fit.
I love the bounce catalog, but I still have only order bras online that I already own. I'm a 32E so I have to go to special stores. (not Victoria secrets!) |
| I have to buy online because no one (I've come across) carries my size (30c). I've bought on eBay, have also bought on Zappos and barenecessities. Both have been fine. |

I think both Her Room and Bare Necessities have free returns. Order a bunch of bras in your size(s). Try them on at home with a variety of tops (to check neckline, smoothness, etc.). Return anything that you don't love 100%. I think both sites have pretty good measuring instructions. One also has lots of reviews and additional measurements, like how high they are under the armpit, how far apart the straps are, etc.
Once you have a few specific bras, not just brand, but style, you can buy them wherever you find the best price. Zappos, Amazon, eBay... I have some Wacoal and Le Mystere bras that are very smooth with just enough lining to prevent most headlights. |
