Our daughter will be starting school full-time in February and our special needs nanny, who has worked for us for years, will be moving on from us sometime around that time. She has tremendous special needs experience and I would like to see another special needs family benefit from it.
Our daughter has cerebral palsy and my nanny has been with her since birth. She has been there participating through physical therapy, occupational therapy, feeding therapy, cognitive therapy, and on her own learned how to do infant massage. She knows how to stretch my child better than I do. She knows how to use a prone stander, gait trainer, put on DAFO's, and use countless other pieces of therapeutic equipment large and small that have passed through our home over the years. I could see her working with another child with orthopedic difficulties or easily transferring her skills to any special needs child. She is fit, energetic, creative, very tender, very patient. Knows a lot about nutrition and exercise. Please send serious email inquiries to her at abbopach@gmail.com. I really would like to see her settled with another kind, caring family in Montgomery County, at a salary commensurate with her tremendous skills. Of course, that is up to her to decide and negotiate. |
