Donating open bag of cat food?

| I was wondering if there was any place that would accept an open bag of dry cat food. I bought a large bag of Iams at Costco and then lost my little guy to a quickly progressing kidney failure. It is just sitting in my basement and I hate to throw away perfectly good food. Any suggestions? |

| Freecycle or free section of craigslist. I'm guessing most organizations wouldn't take it already open. |

| We return open bags of pet food to Whole Pet Central. They give it to rescues. I am sure other places do this too. |
