Anybody else's WSSC water bill WAY high this month?

My WSSC water bill is usually around $130 (billed every 3 months), but this time, it's $270. We havn't been doing anything different like watering the lawn or washing cars, etc. What gives? Anyone else get a high bill?

Have you checked the period they billed you? I was shocked by $500 bill too, but then I realized that they have not billed me since Nov. My bill was for 4,5 month. Still kind of high

There was a recent thread on this and some newspaper articles. Some is because they did a 4 month cycle due to weather. But I called and had them come check the meter and they said it was broken or a bad reading so corrected the bill. It was still higher than usual but about $150 less than the first one.
