Beef roast, carrots, onions, and a slow cooker

I think your title pretty much said it.
Brown the beef roast on all sides in a hot skillet first.
Don't forget to add red wine. (In the slow cooker, as well as at the table with your stew.) Also salt, pepper, and a little garlic.

It's going to be 80 degrees in Saturday. That's a winter meal!

Put the roast beef in the slow cooker for french dip sandwiches, snack on carrots and dip and roast up the potatoes in olive oil for a side dish.
