Has Trump commented on this yet?

He loves to take shots at Alec.

Props to her publicist. Managed to keep her off IG for an entire day AND get this fluff interview in the NYT.
👏👏👏👏👏

I’m glad she has a good publicist but she really needs a good psychiatrist.

Alec already told us to ignore any reporting on this topic from NYT, which he likens to a sewage treatment plant, and then over and over he tells us to consider the souce.

Given all that, maybe Alec's video was so weird because it was like a hostage video. That would explain the bizarre, lenghty and intense stares into the computer. Blink twice if you need us to save you, Alec.

Yup she’s a total sociopath. They really are meant for each other. Can they both just be canceled now?

All of the things she cites in it (vacations in Spain, *maybe* a bit of school in Spain, friends from Spain visiting her family, even her family speaking to each other in Spanish) are not enough to make her speak English with a Spanish accent.

Also- the name Hilaria in Spain is super rare. Yet the name Hillary was super popular for kids born in the 80s in the US. I know that’s a tiny detail but what does it say about her birth family’s commitment to Spanish culture...

“El nombre Hilaria es poco frecuente incluso en España (apenas lo tienen 1.700 personas, y solo 18 en Baleares, supuesta tierra natal de la esposa de Alec Baldwin)“

She comes off so badly in all these responses. Some acknowledgement of why people are reacting and some humility would go a long way. Instead she blames everyone in ways that make no sense. Asking for boundaries... From a woman who pays a zillion instagrams in her underwear??? Anyways, my favorite is her blaming CAA for messing up her birthplace. There is zero chance that happened and even if it did a normal person would correct immediately. After all the blame to journalists and those in the industry.... Honey you'll never work in this town again.

Totally. What a pack of lies. She’s on the record in April saying she moved from Spain at 19 to attend NYU. Why didn’t that come up in the interview? She just continues to look like a liar and the Times continues to be a sack of garbage.

Anonymous wrote:There's an interesting and unfortunate element about this in that it really does diminish the experiences of actual immigrants by spinning those very real identities into a gimmick. It's not a shtick to be from another country and culture (I am an immigrant myself, though I was a kid when i came here so no accent in English and I'm white w an inconspicuous name so nobody assumes I'm anything other than a WASPy American until I mention I'm technically even actually a refugee and Semitic) and it isn't something we are leveraging in order to be perceived as "special" but is our actually legitimate identity. So for me personally it makes me feel like it twists the narrative of being proud of your cultural heritage into a ploy for self promotion and leverage somehow. It makes me feel insecure about what ppl must think when I make it clear I am something other than what they perceive- do they think it is some cloying effort on my part to stand out, like folks such as Hilaria have done? Should I now be more restrained in my outward celebration of my identity for fear of ppl trivializing it? I may be totally going down a sort of ridiculous self-doubt rabbit hole about something that doesn't actually apply to my situation and creating an internal struggle for myself for no reason, but that is what this Hilary/Hilaria fraudulent mess has done to me personally so just wanted to get that off my chest. I'm riveted by it all and cannot fathom why anyone soyld do what she has done, but damn it is uncomfy

Wonderful analysis. The thing that is different from you and this imposter, though, is that she sought high visibility publicity and is mostly all about appearances. My assumption, based on your thoughtful post, is that you have an entire, full life without having to seek validation for your physical appearance. Which brings me to my second point -- her fake identity is an accessory to the main object, her body. She's objectified herself -- and her children -- in a grotesque way. She's sexualized her maternal experience making it a fetish. I guess that's my third point. She combined the Madonna and the whore into her appearance and identity. So, if she's done damage to any immigrants, I'd be angry if I were from a Latin or South American country because she is hyper sexualizing the Spanish speaking women. But, so did/does Sofia Vergara.

So, for the most part, I do not think you would ever be confused with Hillary Thomas Hayward Baldwin by identifying yourself as an immigrant or a refugee. She's

[b]No, he said to ignore the NYPost. This is all a set up. The NYTimes used to be the 'paper of record.' But with stuff like this you know it can be bought.

And she doesn't read articles written about her? So she had no idea they wrote she is from Spain.

I find it very interesting that there were no comments from Alec in the NYT article. Yesterday all he did was post the vague cryptic "we're flying away" video on his instagram.

I know he initially defended her by posting that rambling video and then commenting on her posts but that was a couple days ago and I wonder if maybe since then he's seen more evidence and is realizing he was duped?? Or do we think he definitely knew all along? I'm dying to know how much he knew and how she spun this with him personally.

Who takes a selfie before their D&C? (I’ve had 3 btw, yet it never occurred to me to snap a selfie.)

And, WTH Nivea? How on earth did this paid ad become a reality? Who pitched it?

I don’t have access to the NYT article. But the only reason to do this would be if her parents or significant people from her past would give quotes substantiating her account. Doesn’t sound like any of that’s in there. So what’s the point? Bad PR decision.
