local gardening blogs

Can anyone point me to some local gardening blogs? I have a blank slate and am looking for inspiration in our area. Not really interested in master gardening sites or community gardens...more like homeowners' blogs.

Thanks!

Bump.

Great question, OP. Any others?

The post used to have a good guy-- Adrian something? His chats were helpful.

Adrian Higgins. He writes weekly columns in the Thursday home section during the spring/summer/fall (and occasionally the rest of the year). He also has a book (WashPost Gardening Guide). He sometimes does chats now, but not regularly.

I started following @wdcgardner and she follows and re-tweets tweets from local gardeners and the like. Great source of info and photos generally -- reminders for local native plant sales, frost warnings, etc.

What I like about twitter, is that most of the folks are just that, folks with a hobby, who have experience they are willing to share.
