| Acupuncturist in DC? Any good recommendations? |
| Lisa Eaves from Heal from Within in NW DC is wonderful. |
| 2nd Lisa Eaves. She is so calm, nice and supportive. I went weekly for about 6 months. I think the big help was during IVF cycle. I really think it helped with my eggs. Success on first IVF. |
| I recommend Kelly Welch from Welch and Yonkers, near Farragut West. |
| Kerri Westhauser (Dupont and Va) is great. |
+1 for Kerri. Really good. |

| Dr. Sen Huang in Foggy Bottom. |
|
Kerri Westhauser! Takes my insurance too.

| Not sure fi she specializes in infertility, but when I had pregnancy anxiety, my primary care physician (who also teaches acupuncture) recommended Samina Moiduddin - www.pinpointtherapy.com |

I really like the man I worked with, Peter Liebenthal.
I tried to get in with some of the others mentioned here but had some scheduling issues (harder to get after work hours) and did work with a woman in Cleveland Park who specialized more in infertility but didn't click with her. Peter is kind, careful, very holistic (so I often felt like it was a mini therapy session too), and calm. http://www.peterliebenthal.net/services/acupuncture/ |

Yun Brown in Forest Glen. She does electro-acupuncture, which is not a regular practice for any of the other acupuncturists I've seen. Electro-acupuncture is what CCRM recommends for uterine issues. She is also the only one out of the 4 I tried with whom I actually felt a difference after treatment--more relaxed, and it really alleviated the side effects of IVF drugs such as headache and nausea. So she's doing something.
I know Kerri Westhauer is loved here, but I didn't like her. Felt nothing after her treatments, she put in like 3 needles, and had me lay there, sent me home with herbs. Lots of talk about body/mind stuff which I can get from a yoga teacher for like 1/5 the price. She's honest and has a soothing way about her but I want to pay for results, not another therapy session. |
| PP, did you have success with Yun Brown? Did you get pregnant? Whether you felt something or not does not matter. |
| I'm not pp who commented about feeling something but want to add that in fact it does matter. You should see a difference be it in your cycle length, quality, EWCM, pain etc. I went to three different Acus over two -three years and the first one did nothing for me! The second was good but too far after 6 months and the third is Sen Huang who I am still with, got pregnant with and am 37 weeks pregnant and still with him. |
| Deb Earley in Dupont Circle. |
