The flat belly diet.

Has any one tried it ? If so is it working for you ?

I have been trying a sample weeklong menu that was in Prevention magazine. I have been following it about 4 days, too soon to tell, I guess. I know the official version includes a 4 day first phase which is probably where I should start. However, so far it certainly does not have the initial dramatic effect that South Beach always does, at least in my opinion. The meals are filling and I don't feel at all deprived, but then I haven't lost any weight either!

PP here, I just wanted to highly recommend the strawberry smoothie with semi=sweet chocolate chips recipe. It is delicious!

I don't know what the flat belly diet advocates, but my stomach is my problem area. Everything else is normal sized.

In any event, what works for me is to cut out sugar and white breads/pasta completely. There's just something about the simple carbs that hates my body.

No soda or diet soda either. Both are linked to metabolic syndrome, which lumps fat on the belly as well.

Good luck, though, hope it works well and easily for you.
