URGENT Question About Cupcakes

Anonymous
Today I received a box of 24 carrot cake flavored cupcakes with real cream cheese topping for my birthday.

The problem is that I can't eat all of them tonight, or even tomorrow for that matter.

Can I leave them out on the counter (in their box) for a few days? Or should l put them in the fridge tonight?

Thank you.

Op here. Thanks! I was wondering about this. I'm assuming that I should put them in some plastic storage containers with lids but how many days can they stay in the freezer before getting freezer burnt and how does the defrosting process work?

I would definitely freeze, not fridge. Fridge will just dry them out.

Ziplock. Defrost on your counter.

Thank you for the birthday wishes

Freeze overnight as is. Package them up individually tomorrow.

A friend of mine cuts hers in half and puts the frosting in the middle like a sandwich before freezing.

Happy Birthday! I would stick a couple in the fridge for you to enjoy over the next couple of days, and freeze the rest. Freeze in an airtight container or zip top bag. I would probably defrost in the fridge, but counter is probably fine too. And I love your subject title.
