Bus commute from Rosemary Hills?

| Hello, I work in Bethesda and my husband works near Metro Center. We're considering a house in Rosemary Hills and it seems like buses run frequently along East-West Hwy. Anyone do this commute now? Thoughts? |

| Oh, the number of times I have done that route..... I used to live in summit hills, right next door. The J route is a great bus line. Runs frequently, opens early and closes late. That will be stupid easy for you to get to Bethesda. For ur husband, he will have to make the choice each morning to either walk to silver spring metro, or to wait for the ride on 1 or 11 or the J bus to get to silver spring metro. Or I guess he could take the bus with you to Bethesda and metro from there. My point is, it is totally do-able. I lived there for three years without a car. |

| I live near RH (not in, but my kids go there for school.) The J buses are great but just be aware that EW Hwy is a nightmare anywhere near rush hour. You probably already know that, and it's probably not a deal-breaker, but I thought it should be said anyway. The school is wonderful, btw, and I think the neighborhood is a great value. |
