Any other procrastinators out there? [can we keep this in Off Topics if it's a thread to discuss our slacking, and not financial stuff?] |
|
Me. I usually go to H&R Block on April 14. It's a running joke.
|
| Two down, two to go. I worked three jobs in three states, and turbo tax started getting wonky after the first state. I need to get on with it. |
|
I usually get an extension at the last possible minute, then end up filing October 15 (not before). I can't remember when I finished up April 15, and it's not b/c I have such a complicated return.
But this year - I finished last week! A first. A pat on the back for me, self administered. |

| Me. And we determined we would be much better off divorced when it comes to taxes. WE made 2K more this year than last, claim 1 deduction, and last year owed nothing and this year we owe 8K. There goes home improvements this year. |
| I did mine last weekend, and it was the first time I waited so long. Normally I get them done literally the day I get my W-2. |
| Us, too. Dammit. |
|
I always have my husband do them - it is the ONE financial thing I have him do because I absolutely loathe them.
He did the online stuff last weekend, but we haven't filed yet (we owe a couple thousand - BOO!). Need to do it this week, though, because hubby leaves town Thursday afternoon for over a week. |
| We are basically done but haven't filed because we are so in shock at the amount we owe. Alternative minimum tax can suck it. |
| Me. Haven't even started. |
| Us. Next weekend! |
| Us! Kinda started. Waiting for husband to help. |
| Just picked them up from the account last week. This is the first time in years I can recall them being completed before April. |
| The accountants are still fine tuning them; we got some late K-1s. But we already know we'll owe about $6600. Dammit. |
