Reading the http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/375529.page/Frozen is kind of overrated post made me wonder... What's your favorite animated Disney film? And why? |
Lady and the Tramp. Classic, sweet, and I love dogs. |
Cinderella. It's an old classic and I've just enjoyed it since childhood. Also really like Lady and the Tramp. I like all the old ones, really. Snow White is absolutely marvelous (the animation, not necessarily the title character... she's a bit annoying!).
I really like old Mickey Mouse cartoons from the 40s and 50s. Somehow they make me feel cozy and that all is right with the world. I know it's weird. |
Beauty and the Beast |
Mulan hands down. I loved that movie and the music. |
The Lion King |
And nobody's parents die! |
Actually, Frozen. |
Beauty and the beast. Love Belle and her love of books! |
Yeah, just some of the dogs in a horrific "Dog Pound" scene. I don't know that I can pick a "favorite" as there are 3 or 4 that I just love. Frozen Lion King Aladin Tangled |
Cinderella, The Sword in the Stone, jungle book, Aladdin and most of all the old Winnie the pooh stories. |
Alice in Wonderland. I love it so much. I'm not that into Disney but this movie was amazing. |
Aladdin or The Little Mermaid |
Classic? Fantasia.
Modern? Lion King followed closely by Little Mermaid (the music by Elton John and Menken/Ashman is amazing) |
Of what I've seen: Tangled, Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. Loved Princess and the Frog, but didn't like the voodoo crap or the fact that the "princess" spent most of the movie as a frog. |
