Bar-T camps - any feedback?

We're thinking of sending our daughter to a Bar-T camp (the one at Kensington Parkwood).
Has anyone had past experience with these camps?
Thanks.

I am also wondering. We are thinking of sending our daughter to Bar-T camp at Sequoya Elementary. Any experience with summer programs at Bar-T?

Thanks.

And why are Bar-T camps twice the price of KidsCo?

Are they the same staff as at those schools during the school year? I've seen (and heard) great things about the KPES Bar-T employees from the regular school year.

Bar-T and KidsCo are the same price for the "on-site" programs at area elementary schools. What gets more expensive is if you chose the Bar-T Ranch in Laytonsville or Bar-T Mountainside in Urbana.

So, any feedback anyone??

I've heard great things about the Bar-T Ranch but it is expensive...

I send my kids to Bar-T Mountainside and while it is on the pricier side, it's well worth every penny! The staff is exceptional at all Bar-T Camps (in schools and at the Ranch), but after seeing the Mountainside facility and having them experience that, I couldn't ever send them anywhere else.

I have sent my boys to Bar-T ranch for nine years - it is their favorite camp by far. The counselors are well-trained and college-age - not disgruntled teenagers. The quality of their program is incredible - a quintessential summer camp. I highly recommend

My son has gone to Bar T ranch for 2 years, and loves it. He wants to stay until they will not let him go anymore, and he's planning on working there when he is 15...he's only 7 right now.

The Music and Microphones are VERY LOUD at Bar T Ranch, Laytonsville, and disturb the entire neighborhood. I would be concerned aobut my child's hearing if I sent them there.

Not the OP but I would like to get back to the original questions. Any comments on the camp located at KP?

I would love to hear more about the non-school camps. I know a family who pulled their kid out of the one at KP and were very unhappy about the supervision.

I would like more feedback about the Ranch. What is the swimming supervision/experience like?
